Breaking Routine

Think about it for a bit. What does it take to have a healthy lifestyle? We all know that there are times where we want a break from our daily routine. For most people they take Saturday or Sunday to break their daily cycle. I personally believe Saturday is the best day to have fun and do things you cant normally do throughout the rest of the week. For example, go for a walk or a jog to the beach, park, or woods. Wherever you may find relaxing. If you aren’t into walking or jogging then you can go sight seeing. If you’re up for it then eat somewhere new. Try a new food, shop at new store, or even just browse a different city. I love the idea of supporting small businesses so I try to look for local cafes or diners. This doesn’t have to be something you do every week either. Just once in a while can help you get started in a better lifestyle. Because thats the beauty of it. You don’t have to follow a specific regime in order to have a healthy life. You can mix and match and find whats right for you. Get yourself started with something small and then go on from there. It can include something like biking or paddle boarding. Or it could be something like buying a nice pair of shades and just heading to the beach and relaxing, taking in that fresh air. If you live closer to a lake then maybe you can try fishing. But for now I will keep my love for coffee and shades with a little bit of fresh air for Saturdays. Its not complex but it’s what makes me happy and it keeps me going for the upcoming week.
